Open clusters as tracers of the Galactic disk
The ESR that will undertake the thesis on the "Open clusters as tracers of the Galactic disk" at the INAF-University of Padua (Italy) (see GREAT-ITN webpages) will spend:- 3 months at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía (IAA) studying new statistical tools for cluster membership determination and spatial pattern description
- 3 months at the Univerity of Barcelona studying eclipsing binary stars in Open Clusters and effects of rotational velocities on luminosities and ages.
