MS13 Stress test WP3 UEDIN 01/09/2016 A test suite has been designed to stress test the system and details of this along with results for the GENIUS prototype querying system are in the process of being documented (http://gaia.esac.esa.int/dpacsvn/DPAC/CU9/docs/WP930_Architecture/nonECSS/TechNotes/GAIA-C9-TN-IFA-STV-001/GAIA-C9-TN-IFA-STV-001.pdf) Formal attainment of milestone MS13 has been delayed to the end of the year (31/12/2016) owing to delays in prototype deployment of the full distributed querying system. These delays were caused in part by refactoring of the various subsystems into Docker-deployable containers along with higher priority work in collaboration with Gaia DPAC CU9 and ESAC-ESDC concerning Gaia DR1 data model issues and VO integration work (content descriptors and ADQL language etc.)
MS12 Prototype archive tools open to community WP1, WP2, WP3, WP4, WP5, WP6, WP7 UB 01/10/2015 User testing will allow to give the necessary feedback on the archive tools which have been developed. Most Gaia data will not be available at the date of the milestone, but the testing will nevertheless be possible by providing access to simulated data. In order to get a feedback as large as possible on the archive tools, the access will be given to a large panel of users within and outside the Gaia community. They will e.g. be selected among the users having made requirements proposals (cf. GAIA-C9-TN-LEI-AB-026-1).
